Non-Monogamy for Non-Majors

with Dedeker Winston, coach, author, podcaster

1 in 5 Americans have experienced a consensually non-monogamous relationship. You may not realize it, but chances are very high that you have a friend who is taking part in some kind of non-traditional relationship. Non-monogamy is as old as the hills, but it's become a new topic of media fascination within the past decade. Swinging, polyamory, and other forms of consensual non-monogamy are perfect fodder for news segments and tabloids: one part scandal, one part sexy, and one part side-show freaky.

However, it's time to look behind the sensationalism and examine the everyday lived experiences of people in non-monogamous relationships. In this talk, we'll explore everything you need to know about non-traditional relationships as they function in the real world -- and how we can all make the real world a safer place for all relationships styles.
