Going Deeper: Better Sex through Stronger Connections

In her many years of experience as a Clinical Sexologist and educator, Dr. Laurie Bennett Cook has heard it all. And she says it's almost never about sex. Whether the issue is difficulty with arousal, awkward intercourse, too much sex or no sex at all, she's been able to help people have better sensual experiences by making better connections with themselves and their partners. 

Dr. Laurie Bennett-Cook is a graduate level Clinical Sexologist, with an undergraduate degree in psychology and a doctorate in human sexuality. She divides her time between Los Angeles and Salt Lake City, as president of the non-profit Sex Positive LA and its new chapter Sex Positive Salt Lake City, and sees clients for counseling, workshops and hands on exercises in both locations. All of Dr. Laurie's work is welcoming and affirming of all gender identities, sexual orientations and relationship expressions.

Join us at our BRAND NEW LOCATION for great talks, live music and secular celebration. Find your seat at 11 for a start time of 11:30 sharp, and stick around afterward for coffee and snacks until 1:30, and if you're still game, lunch in the neighborhood. Street parking is free on Sundays and inexpensive at the Runway shopping complex across Jefferson. Come in the front lobby and follow signs to Sunday Assembly, or listen for the sounds of sound checks and secular community!

Complimentary coffee and snacks. You're welcome to bring a snack to share. Free childcare available during the Assembly. Everyone is welcome. Sunday Assembly is free of charge, and donations are gratefully accepted.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

We could always use more volunteer helpers, starting at 9am. to set up signs, greet attendees, brew coffee and load out after the event, let us know if you can be on the team this month!
