Xmas is around the corner, and we've got to make (real, tangible and provable) magic happen for 20 kids! If you have a gift to drop off, money or a gift card to contribute or want to lend a hand wrapping, stop by our place in Venice at 8pm Wednesday. We'll wrap gifts, stuff stockings or maybe even send out a late shopping party. (You can also mail gifts to us, but please do so soon! We'll need to receive them by Thursday, preferably wrapped and labeled, to make our delivery deadline!)

Last year 90% of gifts and contributions came in at the last minute, so there was always more wrapping to do!

As for what to get, feel free to be creative. The families we're sponsoring this year need just about everything. Sheets, children's books, clothing and school supplies are always popular. Gift cards for groceries, Target or Amazon are super useful.

The Ramos Family has 8 children, ages 3-13 and their 41-year-old mom. They've asked for books and 4 twin sheet sets, and when pressed, said they would really enjoy an Xbox the kids could play together. While we have received many gifts for this project and the other kids we've sponsored through another agency, at the time of this writing, there are NO gifts pledged to the Ramos family.
