Artemis: Social Starship Game

Artemis
is a social computer game, where multiple computers are networked together to simulate the bridge of a starship, very much like Star Trek. As a group, we will work together to fight off invading forces and protect our part of the galaxy!  If enough players attend, we can even set up multiple ships and work together as a fleet.

No experience is necessary: most of the consoles are quite easy to play, even for people who haven't played other video games. The excitement and challenge is in the teamwork and social interactions!

Missions are short, only 30-40 minutes.  No need to attend for the entire event.  We will run mission from about 1pm until people get tired (usually 1am - 2am).

Snacks and beverages will be provided, including Trek-themed adult beverages. If you've every wanted to get tipsy on Romulan Ale while running a starship, now is your chance!

A note for people who have asked: you don’t need to bring a computer – we will have a bridge set up and you can just show up and play.

However if you DO have a computer you’re willing to loan us from Friday afternoon through Sunday morning, with enough additional computers we can set up a second starship bridge.
