Carpool to Sunday Assembly San Diego

We are not alone. There are now 65 Sunday Assemblies worldwide, including one practically in our own back yard, San Diego.

I've been meaning to check out their assembly for awhile, but I'd love to share the experience with all of you.

So let's arrange a carpool. The plan would be to leave around 8 am, stick around for their post-assembly lunch, and probably get back to L.A. around 5 or 6.

So if you'd like to go please RSVP, and the post a comment with:

  • What part of town you live in
  • Whether you're willing to drive
  • And if so, how many people you can fit in your car

And we'll do our best to fill the cars we have. Please be sure to include an email and phone number when RSVPing so I, or whoever will be driving can get in touch with you.

Be sure to RSVP for on their http://www.sundayassemblysandiego.org/ as well.

An Associate Professor of Physics at UCSD's Center for Astrophysics & Space Sciences (CASS), Brian Keating is also Co-Director of the Joan & Irwin Jacobs Program in Astrophysics.

He has more awards than we could possibly fit here, but one really cool one is a 2007 White House Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists & Engineers 2007.
