Ok, we don't really have AI's or "mega" lasers, but this intro to makerspaces will include hands-on building of micro-controller electronics (yes, you can do it) and cutting things with "normal" lasers!

After a brief tour of the shop and a short intro to the "maker" culture, we'll use the popular and easy-to-use Arduino platform to introduce you to teensy computers that can control just about anything. Then we'll carve up cardboard, plywood and acrylic with a laser-cutter.
