Because of their many beneficial properties trees help lower temperatures in urban areas, transfer rainwater into the ground, and beautify our parks. But we can't do it alone, so rsvp today!

Help Often is our middle name! It's SALA's mission to increase secular community service opportunities and to foster a cohesive community of humanists who have more fun and do more good when they do good together!

Tree People volunteer opportunities are available for all ages with a few restrictions. Volunteers under the age of 18 not accompanied by their parent or guardian must provide a parental consent form at the event (English/Spanish) . In the Angeles National Forest specifically, volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
