It gets dark early, the weather is supposed to be clear and the skies have been beautiful this winter. We can look through the big telescope and sleep in on Monday because it is Martin Luther King day. Bring a date, bring a friend, bring a kid, bring an appetite for wonder.

To get there go North on Vermont Boulevard all the way to the observatory (It changes into Vermont Canyon at Los Feliz Boulevard.) We'll be meeting just inside the door at Foucault's Pendulum at 6pm.

There is also a cafeteria in the observatory where hot coffee and snacks are available.
