First show of Fall 2015!

Our Comedy Fundraiser is coming back on Saturday, September 26th. We will, once again, be raising funds for the Sunday Assembly Line benefiting the homeless of Los Angeles.

Meet us in the Yoo-Hoo Room of Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank for a star-studded lineup of comics.

Emery Emery is coming back to host.

Shelagh Ratner and DC Ervin are our feature comics and our headliner is . . . 

Matt Kirshen - London born Matt Kirshen's precision wit has earned him an impressive reputation on the international comedy circuit. Most recently his appearances on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Paul Provenza’s Green Room, and as a finalist on NBC's Last Comic Standing has earned him a whole new host of fans in the United States and a surprising number of other countries worldwide. He has also recorded a half-hour special for the World Stands Up, Comedy Central, and has acclaimed festival appearances at Montreal, Edinburgh, Kilkenny, Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds, Bermuda, and Amsterdam. Matt has appeared in and written for numerous television shows and Radio series, including the critically acclaimed series Bigipedia which ran for 2 seasons on the BBC. While it's his prime-time NBC appearances that most American comedy fans will recognize him from, they are often surprised at the breadth and scope of his material, described by one reviewer as "intelligent, but with the emphasis firmly on the funny." 

We've got a whole theatre to ourselves, SALA-themed drinks, and a great cause to support: 50% of ticket sales benefit Sunday Assembly Line, SALA's new on-site charity to help alleviate the burdens of homelessness. After the show anyone who wants to hang out can meet in the bar for a drink and/or socialization.

Also, we can grab dinner ahead of time in the bar if you want to come around 8 pm.

We had a FANTASTIC SUNDAY ASSEMBLY LINE service project on June 14th! We had funds and donations to put together 300 care kits for the homeless population in Los Angeles. We are repeating the project in the Fall and you can be a part of that effort while having a great time in community. Let's make the next one great too.

* Free parking is available at Ashley Furniture or Sears parking lot across the street. Flappers has an extensive food and drinks menu available during the show.
