Sunday Social: California Science Center

Family exploring the California Science Center

Spend the day with fellow Assemblers at the California Science Center!

Open since 1998, The California Science Center offers interactive, educational fun for the whole family. Through hands-on experiences in their galleries, you'll learn about human inventions and innovations, the life processes of living things and more. Also, take a look at the space shuttle Endeavour and its companion ET-94, the last flight-qualified external tank in existence.

Following our shared exploration, we'll have lunch at the fabulous restaurant on site or within walking distance.  Be sure to look for me, Mollie, in a Sunday Assembly t-shirt and black hat, just outside the main entrance. General admission to the California Science Center is FREE, but on-site parking is $15 cash-only. Timed tickets to view the "Science Behind PIXAR" premium exhibit and/or the Endeavour space shuttle can be reserved at this link. If we get at least 15 people interested in either the PIXAR exhibit or the Endeavor exhibit, I'll be glad to get a group reservation in advance.
