Come join fellow Assemblers for a fun trip to the Los Angeles Zoo, complete with critters, dinosaurs, and extra Halloween-themed fun! Since its opening at its current location 50 years ago, the Zoo is home to over 1,100 animals representing over 250 species - including 29 that are endangered. For October 2016, the Zoo is featuring a variety of family-friendly activities, including "BOO at the LA ZOO" activities and events, and the exciting "Dinosaurs Unextinct" special exhibit featuring 17 animatronic Mezosoic-era dinosaurs. We'll meet up by the ticket counter at 11 and socialize for a bit, before entering the park around 11:20-11:30. General admission is $20 for adults, $17 for seniors ages 62+, $15 for children ages 2-12, and FREE for children under 2.
