Come join fellow Assemblers out for a fun and educational visit to the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County! Open since 1919, the museum is the largest natural and historical museum in the western United States, and its collections hold nearly 35 million specimens and artifacts, and cover 4.5 billion years of history.

UPDATE: Since we have more than 10 qualifying RSVPs, we get a group discount worth 15% off general admission! (Qualifying RSVPs are for anyone who has to pay to get in, which excludes children under 3, active duty military personnel, museum members, and teachers.)

At 11am we'll all meet by the entrance and socialize for a bit before entering. From there, we'll explore the museum before getting a bite to eat at the Trimana/NHM Grill. For an extra charge, one can make reservations to see the annual Butterfly Pavilion exhibit before it closes next month.

Group admission is $10.20 for adults, $7.65 for seniors, and $4.25 for children ages 3-12. As stated above, please send a 50% deposit through Paypal. Most of the parking lots around the museum charge $10 (some are cash-only lots). See you there!
