Nov Assembly: Biases in Tech


Sunday, Nov 8th, we will be joined by Dr. Francesca Tripodi. A sociologist and media scholar, Dr. Tripodi is a professor at UNC Chapel Hill, whose research examines the relationship between social media, political partisanship, and democratic participation, revealing how Google and Wikipedia are manipulated for political gains. She recently presented her findings in the form of a testimony before Congress; she has adapted that into a talk for us that you won't want to miss. Register today to reserve your spot.
