Our community is helping to make the holidays special for several families in need, through the LA DPSS Adopt-a-Family program. Over the years, we've had a lot of meaningful experiences through this project. Many of our adopted families are experiencing homelessness, have recently endured a family crisis, are caring for children with disabilities or are otherwise coping with serious hardship, and it is a privilege to be able to bring a little extra joy into their lives over the holidays. 

Over the next few weeks, we'll be accepting items at Assembly, by mail and at other events, and that means there'll be be plenty of gift sorting, list-double checking, stocking stuffing, ribbon curling and wrapping to be done before we deliver gifts to their destinations. Bring a new, unwrapped gift or a gift card and come join the fun!

You don't need to bring anything to participate, and you don't need to show up to send a gift. There are lots of ways to help!

Thank you for all the ways you contribute. This project is one of our favorites and makes a huge impact on both recipients and volunteers.
