Since 2002, Michael Dowd and his wife, acclaimed science writer Connie Barlow, have traveled North America non-stop and have addressed nearly two thousand religious and secular groups — from Unitarian Universalists and secular high school, college, and university students, to Catholic, Protestant, and Evangelical Christian churches, to New Thought, New Age, and Eastern spirituality groups. Their purpose and passion is to share the inspiring and empowering side of science and to show how a deeply meaningful and fully evidence-based view of human nature, death, and the trajectory of "big history" can inspire people of all backgrounds and beliefs to live in integrity and cooperate in service of a just and thriving future for all.
