Venice Game Night! - March 2025
**Heads up everyone, Amy has come down with shingles.**
It should only be a deterrent if you are immunocompromised or have not had chickenpox (or the vaccine). Game Night is still on, but we want to make sure everyone's aware and can make their own decisions.
From the Cleveland Clinic (https://my.clevelandclinic.org/.../diseases/11036-shingles): "Someone with shingles can’t spread shingles to another person, but they can spread chickenpox. The varicella-zoster virus is spread through direct skin-to-skin contact with the fluid that oozes from the blisters. Shingles is rarely spread by breathing in the varicella-zoster virus the way airborne viruses are spread. If your rash is in the blister phase, stay away from those who haven’t had chickenpox or the chickenpox vaccine and keep your rash covered.”
