Big Sunday's MLK Clothing Sort

We are teaming up with Big Sunday again for MLK day! Volunteers are needed to help sort, count, fold and pack all of the donated clothing to prepare it for our nonprofit recipients. Last year people gave away over 50,000 articles of clothing to more than four dozen wonderful organizations!

We’ll also have lots of fun arts & craft projects throughout the morning, awesome entertainment from the Blue Breeze Band, and of course, we’ll also all be enjoying breakfast together.

And, what would MLK Day be without Big Sunday’s Something in Common Project! Everyone is invited to meet someone new and find out what it is you have in common, and have your picture taken together.

In these divisive times, we’re especially looking forward to MLK Day this year. We can’t think of a better occasion for people of all ages, backgrounds and beliefs to be working together for a common cause. We like to think it’s what Dr. King worked so hard for.

All ages welcome!
