"Tell me More, or: How to Shut up and Make Friends"
In the course of hosting the hit skeptic podcast "Oh No Ross and Carrie," Ross Blocher and his cohost have broken bread with Flat Earthers, taken seminars from Scientologists, gone in the field with ufologists, and interviewed purveyors of sundry supplements, fad diets and healing crystals. Despite beginning with wildly differing points of view, they always manage to be respectful and fair, and more often than you'd think they manage to change someone's thinking or learn a little something.
On January 14th, Ross will share his techniques for building bridges with people of all kinds of beliefs ... by laying aside differences, asking questions and really listening. He thinks you'll find that if you listen a little, you can learn a lot about the person behind the belief, and maybe be able to more effectively communicate your own point of view.
